Golden Globe Hair: Men

It would be impossible to talk about the Golden Globes without mentioning all the good looking men on the red carpet! The classic 60's Mad Men hair is still a big trend, parted and pushed back, what's not to love? Use Grooming Creme (for a polished shine) or Bb. Texture (more matte and more hold then Grooming Creme) for this look.

Another popular look with the men was long, the interesting twist was their hair was still kept neat and tidy instead of the grungy and greasy of years past. Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt are perfect examples of this trend. Spray hair with Styling Lotion and smooth a dime size dollop of Grooming Creme through the ends to get this look.

Golden Globes Hair: Rooney Mara

Rooney Mara kept her hair simple and edgy. This is a super easy look so it's great for dirty hair, days where you are in a hurry or just plain lazy!
1. If you are starting on clean hair spray hair with Styling Lotion and blow dry hair completely dry. If you are starting on second day hair skip to step #2.
2. Comb a quarter-size drop of Bb. Gel through the top and sides of the hair. Create a deep side part.
3. Pull hair into a ponytail at the nape of the neck and secure with a hairband.
4. Wrap piece of hair around the ponytail from the underneath and secure with a pin. At this point you may need to go back with a little Bb. Gel and smooth down all fly aways and stubborn hair. Finish with a little Spray de Mode. Pin It

Golden Globes Hair: Julie Bowen

Julie Bowen was one of our favorites, a modern Grace Kelly with her retro-modern 'do.
1. Spray Thickening Hairspray all over wet hair. Finger-dry hair using with a blowdrier to create volume.
2. Begin creating different sized “S shaped” waves using a 1" curling iron. Hold the curling iron on a diagonal. The goal is not to crate tight curls but rather beautiful, full waves. Secure each curl in place with a hair pin.
3. Set the entire head with roughly 30 curls and allow to set until cool.
4. Remove the pins and brush hair from the front of the head to the back, creating “S shaped” loose curls. Comb out the hair with a wide tooth comb and then gently spray some Spray de Mode hairspray.

Golden Globes Hair: Michelle Williams

Oh how we love Michelle Williams short locks!
1. First, apply Thickening Hairspray to wet hair and then shape hair with hands to air dry naturally in the direction of the style.
2. Once dry, use hands and a hair dryer directed at the roots to give extra lift at the crown and body throughout.
3. Then apply Styling Wax to give hair a polished finish while smoothing hair into a shape.
4. Adding a simple black headband with jeweled brooch gives a modern spin to this retro look. Push bangs over to the side where the jewel is positioned for a heavy fringe effect.
5. Spray Spray de Mode hairspray to smooth hair down and give hold throughout the night. Pin It
