OPI Muppets Collection

We gave you a little teaser about the OPI Muppets Collection in May, but we are here with the details! Coming this November (is that really only 3 months away?!) polish your nails in hues as festive as the holidays. Loaded with glitters and shimmers, this collection is packed with punch! We are excited for all the fun glitters!

Here are the colors starting at the top from left to right: Animal-istic, Meep-Meep-Meep, Wocka Wocka, Pepes Purple Passion, Designers De Better, Warm and Fozzie, Rainbow Connection, Excuse Moi, Gone Gonzo, Fresh Frog of Bel Air, Divine Swine and Gettin' Miss Piggy With it.

OPI Miss Universe Collection

Yesterday OPI announced their collaboration with Miss Universe. The collection will be released this September and we are excited to see these shades in person! There are 4 fun, feminine and glamorous shades. We can't wait to get our hands on the silver glitter!

From left to right the colors are:

Swimsuit....Nailed it! (an intense shimmery electric blue shade)
Crown Me Already (a fabulous yet discreet sparkling silver tone)
It’s MY Year (an amazing creamy magenta and berry color combo)
Congeniality Is My Middle Name (a silver and mauve shade that will undoubtedly draw attention instantly)

OPI Muppets Collection

Seeing how this line doesn't launch until the Holidays (November/December), we are jumping the gun big time on announcing this collection but we are so excited we couldn't help ourselves! We grew up with the Muppets so we were giddy when we heard about this collaboration. Since this line is a long time out all we have is pictures but we will keep you updated when we hear more. Like a magpie our eyes immediately were attracted to the glitter collection. Ooh la la!

OPI Pirates of the Caribbean Collection

To celebrate the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, OPI has collaborated with Disney to come out with a nail polish collection of all things pirate. The collection includes six limited-edition polishes each with a quirky, clever name:

Planks a Lot: a lust-worthy purple

Sparrow Me the Drama: a pink that means business

Skull & Glossbones: a gorgeous light gray

Mermaid's Tears: a magical green

Stranger Tides: an unchartered sea of sage

Steady as She Rose: a delicate pale rose shade
Let's not forget about the Silver Shatter, a shimmering silver with a crackled, two-texture silver finish. We have been trying the Black Shatter from the Katy Perry line and love it, the silver should be really fun with this pastel collection. This collection will be available in May.

OPI Texas

For Spring (can you believe it's coming?!) OPI is releasing a nail polish line inspired by Texas! I love this collection because they have a wide range of colors from pretty neutrals to a bright blue and green. I've really been loving neutrals so I'm excited to try San Tan-tonio and Suze Loves Cowboys. Here is a list of the names and the color description of each shade:

Katy Perry for OPI

I'm a huge lover of nail polish, it's a great way to update you look for cheap. OPI is teaming up with chart topping megastar Katy Perry to release a new line of polishes inspired by her innovative style. Honestly, this is a no-brainer collaboration I'm surprised they hadn't teamed up sooner! A nail fanatic herself, Katy always uses the red carpet to show off her daring nail designs (customized Russell Brand manicure, anyone?). The collection will include four glamorous shades: Teenage Dream (a dreamy pink glitter), Not Like the Movies (a sultry silver), Last Friday Night (a fierce glittery blue), and The One That Got Away (an amazing deep berry). The one I'm most excited to try in the collection is Black Shatter, a revolutionary topcoat that creates a cracked/leopard pattern when applied over dried nail lacquer. OPI Burlesque

OPI has outdone themselves with their newest Burlesque collection. My sisters and I were at the beauty supply store earlier this week and we were all instantly drawn to the Burlesque display. We love ourselves some glitter so we instantly fell in love and had to buy one of each of the sparkly shades.

I currently have "Bring on the Bling" on my nails. It's an eye catching sparkly gold, a great substitute for glitter toes/nails without all the damage and hassle. I definitely see myself wearing this through the holiday season. Hm maybe I should buy another.

My other personal favorite in this collection is "Sparkle-icious". It's a multi-colored glitter-iciousness! If you didn't get your hands on OPI's Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter polish, this is the perfect substitute! But as all things go, good things never last so scoop up your favorites while you still can!
