SURF SPRAY

This summer we are obsessed with surf spray! We love it so much we are dedicating an entire week to it. Throughout the next week we will be showing you lots of different hair styles that you can achieve by using surf spray. enjoy!

surf spray gives you sexy, wild, wind-styled texture (even if you're miles from the shore). Salt-infused styling for fullness, hold and a cool, matte finish. Great for anyone! Excellent for wavy types and surfers with the winter blues. Adds volume and body to fine hair.

S.O.S.

S.O.S.
(save our strands)

Here's a lifesaver for the lengthy: masques can restore the moisture, softness and shine that longer hair can lack. Here, three nurturing specialists come to the rescue:

deeep: a protein treat to nourish the sun-damaged or seriously parched - heat helps it penetrate, so smooth it in at the beach

creme de coco masque: a trio of butters bestows glossy on the very dry (a must for island-hoppers or voyagers-at-heart). Wrap in a towel and sit in the sun for a tropical treat.

curl conscious nourishing masque: keep it in your beach bag to keep curls feeling fabulous (and weightless) all season long, wherever the summer takes you. Pin It

GREEN HAIR?

We LOVE summer but it can really do a number on your hair. One of the most often asked questions we get is how to get rid of the green in hair from the swimming pool. Well after searching high and low and spending an arm and a leg we finally found the best solution, TOMATOES! It sounds wierd, we know but it really does work on even the blondest of blondes.
HOW TO: Shampoo your hair like normal and rinse, follow with your tomato product of choice. We prefer ketchup (you can buy a huge bottle from somewhere like Cotsco and keep it in your shower). Coat your hair with the ketchup, like you would conditioner, and let it sit for a couple minutes. Rinse and follow with conditioner. It should work its magic after the first use, if you still notice green continue to use the ketchup every time you wash your hair until its gone. If you have had problems with green hair in the past, we recommend using ketchup after every time you swim to avoid it turning green to begin with. Tip: To help protect your hair even more, coat your hair with a leave in conditioner before you swim.

Hot Tip for Summer Hair

CARE FOR THE HAIR THAT SUMMER WEARS
(or sun-bakes, salt-sloshes and wind-whips)

Hot tip: Manage the damage with Mending Complex and Quenching Complex - uncommonly potent leave-in treatments developed to care (heart and soul) for chemically-abused or thirsty strands.

quenching complex
for the (terribly) thirsty
Quenches the cuticle smooth and seals in moisture to replenish heat-weary, summer-sapped hair.

mending complex
for the (truly) damaged
Penetrates and seals the cuticle to repair color, bleach or even chlorine damage. Pin It
