As you probably have heard all the stylists at Salon K had the opportunity to go to Bumble and bumble University in New York City. It was an amazing experience and we all came back motivated, inspired and ready to use our razors!

Closed October 12-19

We are at Bumble and bumble University in New York City for the next week (October 12-19) taking a razor hair cutting course. We will reopen Thursday October 20 at 9am. We have a receptionist checking our voicemail daily so please leave a message with your name, phone number and appointment information (or any other hair emergencies!) and she will return your phone call as soon as possible. Another Reminder...

We want to keep reminding our loyal clients that Salon K will be closed October 12-19, 2011 (that's in 2 weeks!) while we go to Bumble and bumble University in New York City. If you know you are going to need your hair done next month make sure you book your appointment accordingly! We don't want anyone to have a hair emergency while we are gone! Bb. Story

Salon K is one of the best salons in town.

How can you tell? It's a Bumble and bumble salon.

A limited group of establishments around the world sell Bb. products and share a vision for a stronger hairdressing culture. Each is a best in their region and employs stylists who are impeccably trained, unusually talented and have an unyielding passion and love for their craft. In addition to selling Bb. products, they develop their skills at Bumble and bumble University (Bb.U) in New York City - an institute for higher learning or graduate school for hairdressers.

Bb.U Design School (which we are going to in October!) offers advanced training in cutting and styling and how one depends on the other. We teach stylists to work closely with colorists to collaborate on texture and effect.

So if you thought you always got a fabulous haircut because your stylist is really talented, you're right. And if you think our products are great, you're right again. We teach your stylists to teach you how to look great. We also give them the technical and inspirational training to be the best hairdresser you'll ever have.

But if you thought Bb. was just stuff in a bottle, you'd be wrong. We're a company dedicated to the craft, culture and commerce of hairdressing.

All the stylists at Salon K will be heading to the Bumble and bumble University in New York City this October. We will be taking a razor hair cutting class from the best of the best. We are so excited! Because the entire salon will be going, Salon K will be closed October 12-19. More reminders will go out before then but we wanted to start giving everyone a heads up.
