Berenice Bejo braid how to

How cute is Bernice Bejo's braid with her copper locks!? We are having red hair envy right now! This style is great for so many reasons; bad hair days, dirty hair days, sleep in days, running late days, right out of the pool or even for a night out. It's quick and easy to do but makes still looks pulled together.
1. On dry hair spray Hair Powder lightly all over your hair to soak up any oils but also to create more grip.
2. Create a right side part and starting at the part start french braiding over and around your head to the nape of your neck. Secure with pins.
3. Secure all your hair with a hair band at the nape of your neck, looping the hair and not pulling it all the way through. Finish with Spray de Mode for hold. Pin It

Gwyneth Paltrow hair how to

We had mixed opinions with Gwyneth Paltrow's hair from the Academy Award's red carpet. She looked gorgeous in all white and her loose ponytail was classic and chic. This would be a super easy style to do in quick fix or on a lazy day.
1. On dry, straight hair smooth Brilliantine from midshafts to the ends of your hair.
2. Create a deep side part and loosely pull hair back into a ponytail at the nape of your neck and secure with a hairband.
3. Tuck the front pieces of your hair behind your ears and spray all over with Spray de Mode. Pin It

Cameron Diaz hair how to

Cameron Diaz's new short haircut is so cute! It fits her hair and personality so well. As far as the haircut goes ask your stylist for chin length with lots of layers and side swept bangs.
1. On damp hair spray Prep and Thickening Hairspray all over.
2. Blow dry hair upside down to create volume and use hands to create texture. Using a roundbrush smooth your bangs forward.
3. Use a flat iron to smooth any crazy pieces, flip pieces out, etc.
4. Work a pea sized amount of Brilliantine through your hands and scrunch through the ends of your hair. Follow with a spritz of Spray de Mode. Pin It

Rooney Mara hair how to

Our salon has a love hate relationship with Rooney Mara's hair at the Academy Awards. Some people loved it, some hated it. We will let you decide for yourself. It was very blunt and structured, but so was her dress so they paired well together. Blunt, straight across bangs were the star of this 'do, if you're not ready to make the commitment you could always try clip in bangs. This style would be great on pretty much any hair type, it would also be a great way to style second-day/dirty hair (skip to step #3).
1. Spray damp hair with Prep and Styling Lotion.
2. Using a round brush blow dry your bangs forward and curl under. Blow dry hair until completely dry, smoothing with a boar bristle flat brush.
3. Smooth a nickel sized amount of Bb. Gel through the top and sides (avoiding your bangs) of your hair smoothing it back into a ponytail at the back of your head. Secure with a hair band.
4. Roll your ponytail under and secure with pins. Finish with Spray de Mode hairspray. Easy and classic. Pin It

Jessica Chastain Academy Awards

Jessica Chastain looked fresh and gorgeous at the Academy Awards. Her hair color is a huge trend right now but today we are sharing how to get her beachy waves. You can do this style on clean hair but could just as easily do it on second-day (dirty) hair. You can skip to step #3 if you're working with dirty hair.
1. On damp hair spray Prep all over hair, spray roots with Thickening Hairspray and smooth a small amount of Grooming Creme through your ends.
2. Blow dry hair. Use a roundbrush at the roots to create volume and use your fingers to dry your ends.
3. Spritz Surf Spray on the ends of your hair and wrap 1 inch sections of hair (away from your face) around a 1 inch curling iron.
4. Spritz a little more Surf Spray on your hair and use fingers to break up the curls.
4. Backcomb the hair at your crown and smooth the top layer down. Leaving your bangs out, pull back the top section of your hair. Twist the hair down (like the opposite direction of a french twist) and bobby pin underneath to secure. Spray hair lightly with Spray de Mode. Pin It

Rose Byrne Academy Awards

We are still in love with Rose Byrne's blunt bob. Her dress and hair were modern and elegant, and went together perfectly. A few weeks ago we shared her hair how to from the SAG Awards, this style is exactly the same with a few tweaks (remember this hair is all about the cut, a blunt bob and blunt bangs).
1. On damp hair spray Prep all over hair, spritz Thickening Spray at your roots and smooth a dime size amount of Grooming Creme through your ends.
2. Blow dry hair until 80% dry, using clips section out hair so you can round brush.
3. Using a medium size roundbrush, blow dry section by section, focus on smoothing the hair and curling under the ends. Part hair on the side.
4. Smooth a flat iron through hair if needed. Spritz with Shine Spray for extra shine. Tuck behind your ears and wear a fun pair of earrings!
